Baldur’s Gate is the favorite game series
A new study has ranked Baldur’s Gate as the most acclaimed video game franchise of all time. According to the study, the Baldur’s Gate series has the highest Metacritic average score among 25 popular game brands.
The study analyzed the average Metacritic score of all games in each series. Baldur’s Gate came out on top with a score of 9.15. It was highly acclaimed for its story based on the D&D universe and immersive gameplay. The last game in the series, Baldur’s Gate 3, was also named the best game of last year.
In second place was the BioShock series (8.98), which has a remarkable storyline in every game. The Metal Gear series, known for its stealth-oriented tactical gameplay, came in third with a score of 8.87. God of War and The Elder Scrolls rounded out the top five, cementing their status in the gaming world.
